FSNA - London and District Branch

If you are newly retired, or looking forward to retirement, or if you has been retired for any length of time, you can find new friends and fulfilment as a volunteer with London Branch FSNA. Please consider contributing a few moments of your spare time to the Branch. The work is not time consuming and will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about your organization. Branch Executive

Our branch executive are elected for three-year terms but office holders may retire at any time. For ease of communication it is preferred that they have some compputer knowledge and experience but that is not absolute necessary. The executive usually meets six times per year and all expenses are reimbursed by the branch. In addition, regional meetings are held twice each year and these provide an opportunity to meet for information or training purposes with executive from the other five south-western Ontario branches.

TOWN CRIERS

Town Crier" is the name given to that cheerful voice on the telephone, reminding members of the Branch meeting and/or other important events taking place at the Branch or throughout the Association.

There are approximately two dozen Town Criers in London Branch, but additional voices are always necessary and very much appreciated. One of the advantages of being a Town Crier is that you are among the first to know what is going on at your Branch, but more than that you will be helping to fulfil our mission: to promote the interests and protect the benefits of federal pensioners now and in the future. And you can do that without leaving the house!
